Jeff Tinnin (he/him)
Co-Founder, Board of DirectorsJeff Tinnin is a Co-Founder and Board Member at Disaster Relief International. He has a passion for helping people and has done humanitarian work in Mexico, Canada, and Romania. He holds a Bachelors in Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration and brings a diverse business background to DRI from startups to Fortune 500 companies. He is able to apply this experience to the operational and finance components of DRI, helping to ensure that the organization’s relief efforts are effective and timely. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Jeff is actively involved in search and rescue as the President and Board Member of Pacific Northwest Search and Rescue.

Lindsey Kuipers (she/her)
Board of DirectorsLindsey’s dedication to disaster relief and community development began with a transformative experience witnessing the devastating effects of Hurricane Mitch on the most isolated communities in Honduras. This ignited a lifelong commitment to supporting marginalized populations. Lindsey’s journey has taken her to diverse locations including the Czech Republic, Thailand, Ecuador, and Burma, where she worked to build resilience in vulnerable communities. With a degree in International Development Studies and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Lindsey has a strong foundation that complements her hands-on experience. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, but also excels at leading and organizing behind the scenes. Her rich background and unwavering commitment make her a valuable asset to DRI, bringing both a global perspective and local insight to our organization’s mission.

Ben Kincaid (he/him)
Co-Founder, President, Board of DirectorsPassionate about serving others, Ben brings three decades of experience operating in austere, unstable, and non-permissive environments worldwide. He has led humanitarian and relief work on multiple islands and four continents, and advised developing countries in topics related to disaster resilience, infrastructure development and more.
Ben holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus on cross-functional team leadership. He blends backgrounds and expertise in military special operations, government relations, and disaster and emergency management with formalized training, licenses and certifications in emergency management, disaster leadership, human behavior, emergency medicine and more.
In addition to his work with DRI, Ben serves as Founder/CEO of a safety, security and emergency management consulting firm, and has been recognized as one of the top experts in the world in those fields.
Ben founded the predecessor organization to DRI applying technical skill sets to benefit under-reached populations within disaster zones after Hurricanes Irma and Dorian, and his enthusiasm in that calling is a driving force within DRI.
